| How
can you show the world you are a true Kelly believer?
For some people wearing a t-shirt or a badge is not
nearly enough, they prefer a more permanent display.
But sometimes a tattooed chest or back does have to
be covered up. So the Ironoutlaw has set up a permanent
display of Skin and Ink, allowing the viewer
to marvel at the graphical beauty and winch at the
sheer pain these people put themselves through all
in the name of Ned Kelly. |

Dave Fagan
What makes a person sit
through hours of pain and torture? Well for one
man, Dave
Fagan of Glenrowan, Victoria, it was
his love of the Kelly Legend and countless bottles
of bourbon. With an investment of over $2000.00
waiting to be etched into his back Dave sought
the expert scalpel of Gary Theobald from GUSART
Tattoos situated at 16 New Street, Kyneton,
Victoria. Gary and Dave went through numerous
sitting to achieve the skin and ink masterpiece
that went on display for the first time during
the media launch of Ned:
The Exhibition at the Old Melbourne Gaol.
Even Ian Jones was impressed, although I think
Gary will be waiting a while for a booking from
our number one Kelly expert. However, to reserve
your own piece of mobile art give Gary a call
on 0418 371 133 or check out his web site at gusart.com.au. On
February 9, 2002, Dave Fagan won first place
in the Best Australiana category
at the A.U.P.T.A. Tattoo Show. |

Alex
McGreevy
Alex
finally got his Ned Kelly tattoo finished last
week (July 2006) and sent this photo in to
prove it. This piece of art was completed
by a New Zealand artist called Justin at
Zulu Tattoo in Dublin, Ireland. It was
Justin's first Ned Kelly work, and he copied
the image from the picture we supplied
Alex
NcGreevy just for the occasion! |

| LATEST NEWS |
While
news reports abound with stories of Ned Kelly's missing bones
not a word is mentioned about his stolen skull? Back in December
1978, Kelly's cranium was lifted from the Old Melbourne Gaol
in what appeared to be a university student prank. One of
the culprits was rumoured to be an ex-prime minister's son,
yet to this day no one knows what happened to it. While a
dirt farmer in Western Australia claims he has the skull
buried in a tin can in his backyard, evidence has consistently
disproved his claim. For while he allegedly carries one of
the skull's teeth on a necklace, it is in fact Ernest Knox's
skull (hence the EK engraved on the skull). This EK was executed
in 1894 for murder, after the shooting death of a jeweller's
son during a bungled armed robbery. Either way, they are
human remains and the befuddled Western Australian police
should have confiscated this skull when they first heard
his claim. |
